1. What is this Privacy Policy?
- PropertyMe Pty Ltd of Level 22, One Wharf Lane, 171 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000 (we, us and our) operates the PropertyMe website at www.propertyme.com.au (the Website), the PropertyMe application, and other associated applications and services (the Services).
- This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information we collect from you when you use any of our Services.
- We may modify or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will display a notice on the Website indicating when any such revisions have been made. This Privacy Policy was last updated on 4 September 2018.
- Unless you notify us otherwise, we will assume that you have consented to the collection of all information which is provided to us for use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. What is personal information?
Personal information is information or an opinion about an individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether true or not and whether recorded in material form or not.
3. What personal information do we collect?
- We may collect personal information from you when you visit the Website, use any of the Services, or otherwise contact us by any method (such as telephone, email, post or in person).
- When you register or subscribe to any of the Services, we will collect the personal information you provide to us during the registration or subscription process or in the course of your use of the Services. - At this time, the third parties referred to in paragraph (b) are located in Australia and the United States of America. In particular, we disclose the following personal information to third parties:
- credit card details to a third party who processes payments in relation to the Services, which processing or ancillary services takes place outside Australia (including the United States of America);
- mobile phone numbers to a third party who provides our SMS component of the Services, located in the United States of America; and
- email addresses to a third party who provides an inbound and outbound hosted email component of the Services, located in the United States of America.
8. Access and correction of your personal information
- We will, on request, provide you with access to the information we hold about you, including for the purpose of correcting or updating that information, unless there is an exception to such disclosure which applies under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
- If you require access to your personal information, please contact us using the details listed in section 10(a). Before we provide you with access to your personal information we will require some proof of identity. For most requests, your information will be provided free of charge, however, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request requires a substantial effort on our part.
- If we refuse to provide you with access to the information, we will provide you with reasons for the refusal and inform you of any exceptions relied upon under the APPs (unless it would be unreasonable to do so).
- We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date whenever we collect or use it. We take reasonable steps to prevent the personal information we hold about you from misuse, interference or loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes the use of technologies and processes such as access control procedures, network firewalls, encryption and physical security to protect the privacy of your personal information. We also delete any credit card details you provide to us from our servers once you cancel your registration or subscription.

- Sometimes the Services contain links to other websites. When you access a website or applications outside the Services, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of that site.
